About this Project
The CPM Federal Credit Union Nexton Branch is a purpose-built financial services facility designed to support modern banking needs with a strong emphasis on community accessibility, security, and architectural integration within the growing Nexton development.
The facility features a single-story, slab-on-grade structure with a combination of masonry veneer and fiber cement panels over steel framing. The building envelope incorporates energy-efficient elements, including 3” extruded polystyrene insulation, a fluid-applied air barrier, and double-layered polyisocyanurate roof insulation beneath a modified bitumen roofing system. A secondary roof structure uses a standing seam metal assembly, adding architectural distinction and durability.
The branch offers a full suite of services in a welcoming environment, supported by a floor plan that optimizes customer flow and staff efficiency. Interior partitions are framed with cold-formed metal studs, finished with sound-attenuating gypsum board assemblies, and designed for flexibility and future adaptability. Architectural details also include custom signage, integrated canopies, and a range of curated finishes enhancing brand identity.
The project scope encompassed full site development, including grading, stormwater management, utility connections, and a professionally landscaped exterior to align with the Nexton Design Committee’s guidelines.
