Ashley Ridge High School

The Additions to Ashley Ridge High School will be built while classes in the existing school are still being held. When complete, the three existing classroom wings will have more room to hold class, and the existing outside commons area will be converted to an indoor commons area. On the first floor, we will be adding three classrooms, one office and one storage room per wing. On the second floor, we will be adding four classrooms and an office per wing. The additions will be constructed of CMU load bearing walls with bar joist to support the roof. There will be brick veneer on the exterior to match the existing building.

Ashley Hall Dining Facility

The Ashley Hall dining facility is completely new construction and will serve as the campuses main dining hall. The two story structure sits on top of 116 auger cast piles that extend to around 87 feet deep. The dining hall will be furnished with a new state-of-the-art kitchen alongside an open service area. The dining area itself has 28 foot tall ceilings with windows running along each side and electric roller shades to control daylight and heat from the sun. There will also be a private dining area in addition to the main dining area on the first floor. The second floor will have a student lounge that is open to the dining area below. The roof will also be used as a playground/activity space possibly using artificial sports turf. The dining facility is about 15,000 square feet and has an estimated completion date of September 2010.

CRDA

The CRDA upfit consists of about 5,000 sf of floor space when completed. The old space had three completely different sections closed off from each other, where as after the upfit the space will encompass all of these areas and open the floor plan up. All of the offices will surround a new open collaboration zone with decorative lighting and a very intriguing paint scheme. The hallway leading from the reception area back into the office space will be a very decorative millwork wall with a sidelight providing views into the new conference room. All of the offices will now have sidelights in them as well to allow natural light to enter their personal space. We have also included a new larger kitchen as well as a coffee nook off of the new conference room. In the library section of the office we will be installing new decorative light fixtures as well as some new paint colors and new wall panels to finish the space. In all the space will be very open and a lot more decorative from what they had before.

Daniel Island Club Women's Locker Room

The women's locker room is to resemble the men's locker room in many ways. The women's locker and parlor area is going to have high tongue and groove ceilings with large exposed timber trusses. Included in the Locker area is an attendants station, fire place, and millwork encased flat panel TV, refrigerator and ice maker. There is going to be a large vanity attached to the new restrooms and changing suites which are equipped with steam showers. Across the main corridor there will be a wine room which will have its own mini split unit to maintain the temperature. Also, across the hall from the locker and parlor area there will be a new conference room with electrified privacy glass on the entry doors, millwork media cabinets and stone countertops, millwork encased refrigerator, ice maker, and warming drawer. There will also be an addition to some office space next to the conference room.

First Federal Broad Street

This project includes renovations to multiple areas of the First Federal Building on 34 Broad Street. The lobby, restrooms, multiple offices, lounge, entrance, break room, board room and the teller area are all included in the scope of work. In these areas we will be replacing carpet, painting, removing ceilings, replacing light fixtures among many other things. The project is to be completed in September.

Folly Beach Public Safety

The project includes renovations and additions to the Folly Beach Fire Station. The existing roof will be demolished and a second floor and new roof will be constructed. There will also be renovation and expansion to an existing mezzanine space. A new connector will be constructed to connect the new Fire Station second floor to the existing City Hall building. The project is to be completed in December.

Hood Law Firm

This Meeting Street upfit is for the three story office of the Hood Law Firm. This upfit will be occurring in phases as Hood will still be occupying the space during construction. Throughout the three floors there will be new millwork, casework, crown molding, shelving, new insulation, custom wood doors and windows, new carpet, new plumbing, HVAC and electrical among other items. Additionally there will be new street front brick pilasters. This project will be completed in May.

Heartland Health Care

This project is a 40 bed, 12,500 square foot addition to an Assisted Living facility. The building design is Load bearing walls supporting wood trusses. The exterior is going to be brick veneer with Hardi "Color Plus" siding as trim. The schedule for this job is nine months and is to be completed by July 2010. The existing building will remain occupied during construction.

Tidelands Executive Office Building

The new Tidelands Executive Office Building is a 20,000 square foot office building built next door to Tidelands Bank's Operations Center. The second floor of the new building will be the new headquarters of Tidelands Bank. The first floor will house the Chapter 13 Trustee Offices. The site improvements include foundation improvement using vibro replacement stone columns at building foundations and slab areas and an underground storm water detention system located underneath the new parking lot area. The building will have brick and zinc panel veneer, impact resistant windows, metal roofing, terrazzo flooring in the lobby with Tidelands Logo cast into stone accents, lobby floor, and interior glass wall. Interior finishes include walnut flooring and trim to accent the Class A office environment.

The Shops at Rivertowne Place

The Shops at Rivertowne Place are 7,500 square feet of space divided into units for future tenant upfits. The veneer is Hardie siding and brick, and the roofing material is TPO and standing seam. The units will also have impact resistant store front windows. As for the interior work, we will be hanging sheetrock and painting. Each space will also be outfitted with separate bathrooms. The completion date for this project is May 2010.

High Hammock Villas

This project includes exterior renovations of the High Hammock Villas condo community on Seabrook Island. The scope incldues new Hardi ColorPlus siding, windows, decks, roofing and stairs for 100 units in sixteen buildings. The renovation will be completed in six phases that span over twelve months.

This project consists of a new 54 bed 18,000 square foot adolescent residential treatment center, located in Kingstree, SC. The work includes but is not limited to the following trades: site work, site utilities, termite control, asphalt paving, site work concrete, landscaping, concrete, structural steel, rough carpentry, structural insulated panel system, interior architectural woodwork, building insulation, weather barriers, roofing, metal roof panels, siding, hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors, overhead coiling doors, aluminum framed entrances and storefronts, windows, hardware, glazing, drywall, tile, acoustical panel ceilings, resilient flooring, resinous flooring, carpet, painting, signage, operable partitions, wall and door protection, toilet, bath and laundry accessories, fire protection specialties, metal lockers, commercial washers and extractors, food service equipment, site furnishings, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and electrical. This project will be finished in November of 2010.
